Charles Tweed (International)

Hello fellow prospectors. My name is Charles Tweed and I have a problem. I enjoy fantasy baseball…maybe a little too much.

If you’re looking for an edge in your deep dynasty league, look no further. As a prospect hound I intend to shed some light on the international prospect market.

A few years ago I was in Cuba and managed to sneak down to Matanzas where I saw Victor Mesa Jr. play the Havana Industriales and the Gurriel brothers in Serie Nacional. At that time I swore we’d see the Gurriels in the MLB in the near future (right) but that the Mesa family’s connection to the national team would mean fans in North America would never see Victor Jr. and Victor Victor play in the big leagues (wrong).

I intend to bring that same type of crack analysis (you win some and lose some when you’re trying to identify 16- and 17-year-old talent) to help your fantasy team.

If you like talking ‘spects and don’t mind a good argument check me out on Twitter: @CharlesTweed

And, if you think I’ve missed a prospect or you want an update on a specific player, don’t hesitate to hit me up.

I look forward to an exciting season of you telling me why I’m a fool for punting on your favourite prospect and why I’m crazy for liking Marco Luciano more than Victor Victor. It should be fun — happy prospect mining.

All of the important people in my life know to never make me choose between them and fantasy baseball, because they might not like the answer. But in all seriousness I'm hoping to have some thoughtful discussion with you about international prospects. I've been playing in some serious dynasty leagues with the pool of prospects ranging from about 200-300 deep for about a decade, so, let's win your dynasty league. Don't hesitate to ask any questions; you can find me on Twitter: @CharlesTweed
