Summer is upon us, and we’re in the heart of the Minor League Baseball season. It’s a perfect time to put the spotlight on some players who haven’t been mentioned across the industry in the same breath as other top prospects in their respective organizations. This is a rundown of one hitter and one pitcher, from each of the 30 farm systems, who were outside of our Prospects1500 preseason team Top 50 prospects lists. Each is a stand out for impressive performance over the first couple months of the season, steady improvement compared to last year (if applicable), and/or a player who simply has caught our eyes for one reason or another.
Many of these prospects should be available in your dynasty leagues. If you have open spots and a very deep minor league roster, consider adding now and reap the benefits later. Thanks to several of our Prospects1500 writers for suggesting some of these players for me to include.
