Each week during the Minor League Baseball season we pick the hitting and pitching prospects from each level (Triple-A, Double-A, High-A, and Single-A) who, in our opinion, had the best week. This week the team awards the Prospects of the Week hitters and pitchers for each level, while also presenting other names at each level that are just as deserving of POTW honors. Feel free to reply in the comments with any player who deserves to be mentioned that may not have made our cut.
Any issues with this week’s POTW? Did we miss anyone deserving? Hit us up and set us straight! As always, tweet us @Prospects1500 when you see a great performance that warrants consideration for Prospect of the Week. Enjoy, and make sure you’re keeping an eye out for these prospects in your dynasty leagues.

Honorable Mention:
Ryne Nelson, RHP (DBacks #6)
Reno Aces (2 GS, 8 IP, 8 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 13 K)
Nelson was fantastic in his first two starts for AAA Reno, consistently commanding his secondary pitches for tons of whiffs and punchouts. A major league debut is likely on the horizon this year for Nelson once he gets a little more stretched out.
Double-A
HITTER: Hudson Haskin, OF (Orioles #14)
Bowie Baysox (3 G, .583/.583/1.583/2.166, 7 H, 3 2B, 3 HR (in one game), 4 RBI, 4 R)

THE video game-like numbers of Week 1. 9 RBI in his first game, then 5 and 1 in his next two games, totaling 15 for the week. Tremendous kickoff to the season for the hot commodity dynasty league free agent pick up.

PITCHER: Michael McGreevy, RHP (Cardinals #16)
Peoria Chiefs (1 GS, 5 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 5 K)
McGreevy had his complete repertoire working during his High-A debut for Peoria on Saturday. The 2021 first-rounder also had his signature control on display, which, combined with his fastball touching 97, makes for an exciting pitching prospect. He’ll be a quick riser with more starts like these.
