Paul Aiton (San Francisco Giants)

Hello to all the San Francisco Giants fans across the world! My name is Paul Aiton and I’ll be covering your beloved Giants this upcoming year. I’m excited and eager to break down this organization and to accurately find the next wave of talent that helps out the big league club.

I always enjoy digging deep into prospect pools and finding out what type of player each currently is and project them moving forward. I’m a big fan of video when I’m not able to get to a game in person and that’s a part of my evaluating process as it should be for most people. Growing up in Yorktown, VA I was only able to attend Richmond Braves, then later the Richmond Flying Squirrels and Norfolk Tides games. The love for the game grew each time I went to a game. I’ll be moving to Arizona in the early spring and I’ll be able to get in person views of the Giants at their Spring Training facility and continuing throughout the summer.

My intentions in taking this role is to give you, the fan, all of the best information possible on the growth of the Giants organization. I also hope the information I provide will help everyone with their fantasy baseball teams in the upcoming year! Prospects are what drives me and my dynasty team. I currently play in one 20 team dynasty league and I’m always available to talk about prospects from other teams and levels. You can reach me to chat @Paul_8en on Twitter.

My name is Paul Aiton and I’ll be covering the San Francisco Giants prospects. I grew up in Yorktown, Virginia until 2014, where I’ve since been traveling the country the last few years in attempt to chase a dream, working in professional baseball. I played 3 years in college, one season at New River CC and another two at Averett University after a shoulder injury derailed my dreams of playing professionally. Since then, I’ve gone on to coach high school and collegiate baseball. I also worked with Inside Edge Baseball for 5 years while working in their advanced scouting department. Outside of baseball I like to spend my mornings either on a golf course or taking my puppy Ace on hikes through Arizona. You can follow me @Paul_8en on Twitter. I’m always available to talk about Giants prospects, anything fantasy related or baseball!

  1. Hi Paul,
I’m curious about two young Giants prospects, Jairo Pomares and Luis Toribio. Are you familiar with them? Impressions? Too young for your rankings?
    thanks,
    jeff
