In a season of affiliate swaps and name changes, the Houston Astros were no exception. The biggest change affected the Class A Advanced level. The Astros will move from the hitter friendly California League to the Carolina League. When the Lancaster JetHawks became affiliated with the Colorado Rockies affiliate, the Astros fell into a Class A realignment agreement. The other change saw the Astros end their partnership with Kissimmee, FL after 31 seasons. With an agreement between the Astros and the Nationals, the two teams will share a spring training and GCL home in West Palm Beach. It may be December, but the baseball world never sleeps.
