Rich Campbell (St. Louis Cardinals)

Greetings fellow Cardinals fans and dynasty league junkies! My name is Rich Campbell and I am excited to be covering Cardinals prospects here at Prospects1500. I have been playing fantasy baseball for fifteen years and joined my first dynasty league nine years ago. I was immediately hooked and became fascinated with the prospect aspect of a dynasty league. Nothing is more satisfying to me than finding a high upside prospect before my league mates do and watching him blow up. Whether you are rebuilding or need some trade chips to push you over the top, prospects are a critical part of any dynasty league. My goal here is to uncover those high upside prospects in the Cardinals system before they are known commodities, as well as determining what type of fantasy value each prospect may carry in your league.

I am a born and raised Cardinals fan; my father took me to my first game when I was six-years-old. As my interest in dynasty leagues picked up, I began attending games at the Cardinals Double-A affiliate in Springfield, MO. I enjoy the minor league atmosphere and am fortunate enough to have seen many popular Cardinals come through, as well as top prospects from other affiliates in the Texas League.

I love talking about baseball in general, so any comments are greatly welcomed. You can follow me on Twitter @Redbirds_1500. 99% of my tweets are about baseball, particularly prospects and fantasy. I typically lead my dynasty leagues in trades each year, so feel free to hit me up if you need a second opinion on an offer. I look forward to covering Cardinals prospects and finding that next diamond in the rough.

I’m Rich Campbell and I cover cover everything related to St. Louis Cardinals prospects. I have followed the Cardinals organization for 30 years and live close to their AA affiliate in Springfield, where I attend several games a year. I enjoy playing in several deep dynasty leagues and have a passion for following prospects. To me, finding the next big prospect is the most satisfying part of playing fantasy baseball. Aside from baseball, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two kids, or just being outdoors. Follow me on Twitter at @Redbirds_1500. Feel free to shoot me any questions related to the Cardinals farm system, fantasy trades, or baseball in general. Chances are I’m already thinking about baseball anyway.
